Incubation & Acceleration
Stimulus Africa offers Incubation and Accelerator programmes designed to catalyse growth in micro, small and medium sized enterprises (MSME’s) by enabling them to develop strong business models. Both programmes can run for 6-months, 12-months, 18-months or 24-months in length and use context-specific training tools and models to support MSME’s grow.
- Stimulus Incubation Cohorts run for a maximum of 24-months and utilise the Stimulus PAP [People Action Profit] business modelling training tool.
- Stimulus Acceleration Cohorts run for a maximum of 12-months and utilise the Stimulus PAP-PLUS+ enterprise scaling and financing model
The incubator programmes also offer a variety of supporting training workshops, One2One business coaching and mentorship throughout the programme in order to ensure that the entrepreneur and the enterprise are fully supported.
Business Coaching Clinics
The Stimulus Coaching Clinics offer:
- One2One Coaching sessions to support business model development
- Business Development Workshops to teach entrepreneurs fundamental business principles and provide updates
- Enterprise Pre-finance Assessments and recommendations to support access to smart finance
- Virtual Board service gives enterprises access to a board to assist in business strategy
- Network Events that support collaboration and access to markets
Business Coaching at Stimulus takes place through our various Business Coaching Clinics that give entrepreneurs access to strategic guidance and professional services including legal, finance, branding & marketing, business modelling and more. Stimulus Coaching Clinic services are delivered by qualified professional consultants specialist in their fields.
Mentorship Programmes
Stimulus offers a structured Mentorship programme for entrepreneurs and their enterprises to support the development of leadership and strategy skills in the entrepreneur | founder and direction for the enterprise.
Our mentorship programmes have four levels;
- Self-care – This is focused on the entrepreneur putting into practice lessons learnt from failures in the past and from learning
- Peer Collaboration – This is focused on pairing two entrepreneurs who go through a shared learning and leadership programme utilising the Stimulus Peer Collaboration Journal as a guide
- Group Mentorship – This is focused on incubation or acceleration cohorts working together to share experiences when implementing what they learn during their programme
- Role Modelling – This is focused on the CEO Masterclass which sees captains of industry give guidance and mentorship through a masterclass event
