How to apply

Stage 1 – Eligibility Criteria

Who can apply?

Applications are open to individual artists, cultural practitioners, arts managers, creative hubs, creative spaces, cultural organisations, and creative enterprises, particularly from marginalised communities.

Stage 2 – Application Assessment Process 

Application Requirements:

Those who meet the eligibility criteria are invited to apply here (add link to application form)

List of Required Documentation:

·     Detailed project proposal (maximum 4 pages)

·      Budget excel spreadsheet (with breakdown)

·      Artist Resume/CVs of individual or key team members if an entity and entity profile.

·      Examples of previous work (portfolios, videos, links etc.)

Grant size and Duration

#SSADZA Fund generally provides small to medium sized organizations and individual artists  grant funding for creative projects. 

The grant funding is awarded for projects of up to six (6) months from award and with the following value guidelines:

Small grants:below $1,000Individual Creatives
Medium grants:between $1,000 – $5,000Individual or Groups/Collectives
Large grants:between $5,000 – $10,000Arts & Culture organizations

Timetable

The Fund will have two funding cycles annually typically in April and in October of each year up to 2028. 

The calls will be announced on the Stimulus Africa And Embassy of Switzerland websites and social media spaces.
